Teachers in Colorado Can Get Vaccinated Starting on Monday

Starting on Monday (February 8th) teachers and child care workers will be able to get the COVID vaccine. Originally they were places in Phase 2 of the rollout which meant that they wouldn't be able to get the vaccination until April, but Governor Polis announced new eligibly guidelines last week. According to Polis:

"Our schools are a cornerstone institution of our society and it’s important that we focus on them returning safely to school, that we’re able to keep our schools in person in the safest way as possible, and to have as normal a spring semester as possible during the pandemic.”

People over the age of 65 will also be eligible for the vaccine starting on Monday. Read more HERE.
