Green Mtn Falls Fire Department and the EPCSO now say no structures are threatened at this hour. 5 engine crews are monitoring flames burning on the north side of highway 24 - including some within proximity of the Cascade area.
Due to significant smoke production, Wildfire Smoke Health Advisories are now in effect until 4:00 pm on Monday for El Paso County including all of Colorado Springs.
More record high temperatures and extreme fire danger today. This weather and high temps will continue to make it difficult for firefighters battling the Waldo Canyon Fire.
